• Account & profile data — name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and profile photo you provide when registering or that an authorized administrator enters on your behalf.
• Records you manage — data you enter into the Services, such as documents you upload, schedules, attendance, grades, fees, crew records, and other operational records relevant to the product.
• Uploaded files & camera images — documents and photos you upload from your device or capture with your device camera when you choose to do so.
• Usage & device data — technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and log data used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Services and their core features;
• Authenticate users and secure accounts;
• Store and display the records and documents you manage;
• Send notifications, announcements, reminders, and follow-ups related to your use of the Services;

• Within your organization — records are visible to authorized users (e.g. staff, faculty, family members, crew, or allottees) according to the access permissions configured by your organization.

• Legal requirements — where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You or your organization's administrator may request deletion of records as described below.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our school management Service contains records about students, including children and other minors. We take the privacy of minors seriously and handle their information as follows:

• Data controller. Student records are collected and entered by the authorized educational institution (the school). Tentacode processes this information solely on behalf of, and under the direction of, that institution.
• Purpose limitation. A minor's information is used only to deliver the educational and administrative features of the Service — such as enrollment, schedules, attendance, grades, documents, and fees. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not serve targeted or behavioral advertising to any user.
• No sale or profiling. We never sell a minor's personal information and do not build advertising profiles from it.
• Consent. The institution is responsible for obtaining any parental or guardian consent required by applicable law before a student's information is entered into the Service.
• Access & deletion. Parents, guardians, or eligible students may request access to, correction of, or deletion of a student's records by contacting the institution or by contacting us at the address below.

We comply with applicable children's privacy requirements, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy where they apply. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without appropriate authorization, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below or reach out to your organization's administrator who manages your records.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
